Nicola & Philip
Nicola and Phil had a beautiful wedding, with amazing details and personal touches. The reception was held in a marquee at her family home, which was in a gorgeous setting. The only drawback was the torrential rain which fell pretty much non stop all day, and had us all running for cover!
Gorgeous dress and shoes!
Nicola was serene and beautiful...
There were a few tears...
...but that's what bridesmaids are for!
A few girly portraits...
Phil's James Bond style arrival at the church...
I love this next one!
A lovely ceremony
Married!
A bit (or a lot!) of rain couldn't stop these two smiling!
They travelled in style
We went for a wander around the garden with Mr and Mrs
The marquee looked amazing!
Phil had been busy designing all the stationery, including the cards for this lovely message tree:
Stunning cake!
A few highlights from the speeches...
A few from the first dance...the twinkly lights above the dance floor were fab!
Thank you Nicola and Phil for a wonderful day, and especially for not letting the crazy weather get you down! X

Road trip
This weekend we were photographing Nicola and Phil's wedding in Derbyshire, so we headed down the day before to get our bearings. We were pretty excited to cover a wedding a bit further afield than usual, and as we hardly take pictures for ourselves these days we thought we'd document the trip!
The adventure begins...
Our trusted companion Sat Nav...
We were soon defeated by traffic!
But it couldn't dampen our spirits!
A Dixie Chicks sing along helped pass the time
We made it!
We like the finer things in life!
Highlights from Nicola and Phil's big day to follow!

Pyleen & Isa
We spent yesterday with Pyleen and Isa, photographing their beautiful wedding at Farington Lodge. They are such a wonderful couple, and their wedding was full of joy! There were tears in abundance during the ceremony, but quite clearly they were happy tears.
Pyleen's beautiful dress and shoes...
The very talented mother of the bride arranged all the flowers...which (like the bridesmaid dresses) were fabulously colourful!
The bride looked gorgeous
Isa was so nervous he made me feel nervous!
Such an emotional ceremony
Confetti makes me happy!
Some portraits of Mr & Mrs...
So cute!
The reception details were all amazing and vibrant...I was in heaven!
Lovely speeches...
...and lovely first dance...
Thank you Pyleen and Isa, we can't think of a nicer couple to share our first dance song with. Have an amazing honeymoon X

Collette & John
On Saturday we photographed the fabulous wedding of Collette and John at Hillbark Hotel - such a beautiful venue!
Collette has amazing taste! Check out her beautiful lace gown...
Such a stunning room to get ready in!
I could take pictures of these flowers for hours!
Collette was full of nervous excitement!
A gift from the groom...
Gorgeous bridesmaids
John arrived in style!
Nervously waiting for his bride...
Here she comes!
If you look closely you can spot me crouching in this next one...
Here's the shot I was taking (how happy can two people look?!)...
A few portraits of Collette and John, who braved the ridiculous wind!
Take one hot bride in a beautiful setting...
...add a handsome groom (and a touch of cross processing), and voila! Love it!
A few quiet moments before the reception
Such a beautiful room
Sparkly cupcakes...too pretty to eat!
The grand entrance
A preview of the speeches...
The first dance...
Congratulations Collette and John! Thank you for sharing your day with us X

A weekend off... at a wedding!
This Saturday I was a bridesmaid at the wedding of our good friends Olivia & Chris. In order to fully focus on my bridesmaid role (ie holding the bouquet, drinking champagne...) we left the official photographs in the hands of Caroline White (who also took our wedding pictures - as we get asked very frequently!).
That's not to say that we didn't sneak in a few pictures here and there!
Here's me and the bride in the morning
Liv you looked beautiful, and you totally rocked the vintage veil!
I think this one's my fave...
Nervous Chris...
The cutest flower girl!
Love this shot from the speeches...
The surprise fireworks in the evening were amazing!
Love you guys XXX
